On 3rd Feb 2018, I found myself heading to Sorrento (outside Melbourne) for a really special Bollywood hens party weekend. Frankie had organised a special weekend away for her sister’s hens. It was in a beach-side mansion with an array of Goddess activities such as yoga, Bollywood dancing, feasting and chilling with the girls.
It was a balmy night – perfect to be dancing outdoors under the stars, so we headed to the tennis court out the back and decided to run the Bollywood dance class there.
I design my hens party dance sessions a little differently to most other Bollywood dance classes. The focus is to get a little cheeky and sultry. The women are encouraged to tap into their sensuality and femininity through hip swaying movements and wrist twirls. It’s also quite a laugh!
