We just returned home to Melbourne from a wonderfully successful and well received show in Queensland. Our eight Bollywood dancers for corporate events along with a sitar player, DJ, Indian drummer and henna artist headed off Cairns and then Townsville to entertain doctors at a colourful corporate function!
Our corporate event ideas team worked closely with Sharyn Abel, CEO of Nicholl Holdings to understand her requirements and deliver a start to finish Bollywood experience for her staff of 160.
The evening began with three beautiful dancers greeting guests in traditional Indian style with a thali (silver tray with candles, incense, rose petals and tikka). As guests entered to the fragrance of sandalwood incense, music filled the dimly lit room as our sitar player sat in a comfortable corner playing his beautiful sitar.

The guests enjoyed canapes and drinks and were later escorted to the main ball room where energetic Indian drumming greeted them as they entered and found their seats.
Our professional henna artist sat at one end of the hall throughout the night as guests chose designs that they wanted painted on their hands. Our Bollywood dancers later put on a colourful and vibrant show and held a fun teambuilding session as they got the guests up and dancing to live Indian drums. We even had a Doctor’s versus admin staff dance-off which was a highlight!
